NYT Today Wordle No. 1245 Hints and Answer for November 15, 2024

Hey, Wordlers! I’m back again for another Fearless Friday, where we shake up our usual Wordle routine with an extra challenge. Every Friday, we turn up the heat by switching on hard mode and starting with a less-than-ideal word choice, typically suggested by one of you, our brave viewers. Let’s see what twists and turns today’s puzzle has in store!

The Rules of Fearless Friday

Here’s how we make things interesting every Friday:

  1. Hard Mode Activated – Once a letter is revealed, we’re locked into using it exactly where it appears, making every guess count.
  2. Unique Starting Word – We pick a word that isn’t exactly easy or efficient, usually chosen by a viewer or pulled from our Hard Word Challenge series.

Today’s starting word comes from A807, who suggested Xenon, inspired by its atomic number 54 on the periodic table. Let’s give it a go!

Today Wordle Hints

  • Number of Vowels: The word contains one vowel.
  • First Letter: The word begins with the letter ‘T.’
  • Repeated Letters: There are no repeated letters in today’s wordle.

Example Hint:

  • This word is often used to describe something that might be a bit gaudy or cheap-looking.
  • It’s an adjective that describes something a bit lacking in style or taste.

If you still want answer then follow me along the article or you can find the answer at the end of the article.

First Guess: Xenon

So, I opened with Xenon, hoping for a bold start. Unfortunately, it revealed…nothing. A classic Fearless Friday beginning! Now, with hard mode on, I could go in any direction for the next guess.

Second Guess: Chart

Staying on the theme of elements and science, I chose Chart as my second word, thinking about the periodic table (close enough, right?). This guess turned up three letters: C, A, and T. Great progress, but all were out of position. So, onto the next guess with fresh ideas in mind!

Third Guess: Batch

Three letters were now confirmed, but finding their exact spots was proving tough. I went through several guesses—Actor, Batch, Stack—but none seemed to fit the clues perfectly. The puzzle kept me guessing (and second-guessing!) as I tried to make sense of it.

At this point, I started exploring less conventional arrangements, thinking maybe I was overcomplicating things. Finally, the letters seemed to come together…

Fourth Guess: Tacky

After a few frustrating moments of trial and error, it hit me—Tacky was the word! It felt appropriate, considering how much of a sticky situation I found myself in.

  • Guess 5: Tacky
Success! Tacky was indeed the answer, and we’d completed another Fearless Friday challenge. It took some wrangling, but that’s part of the fun.

Today’s Fearless Friday was a true test of patience, but we came through in the end.

I’ll be back tomorrow, and we’re starting with the word Saber—ready to take on whatever Wordle throws at us next. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you then!
