Today Wordle Hints and Answer for March 17, 2025

Well, hello everyone! It’s Monday, March 17, 2025. It’s time once again to dive into another exciting round of Wordle. Given that today is St. Patrick’s Day, I wanted to start with something thematic. A special shoutout to Sad Desmon 7460—I hope I got that right!—and Patty, who suggested a name linked to today's holiday. I decided to go with Saint, as it not only fits the theme but also seemed like a solid strategic choice.

First Guess: "Saint"

First Guess: "Saint"

As the board revealed itself, I was pleasantly surprised: A was in the correct position, and S was present but misplaced. Not a bad way to start! With this information in hand, it was time to move on to the next guess.

Second Guess: "False"

With an A confirmed and an S needing relocation, I began analyzing possible words. Given that plurals aren’t typically valid answers, placing the S at the end didn’t seem likely. Instead, I leaned toward positioning it in the fourth spot. Now, what letters could go between A and S?

One word immediately jumped out: False.

Second Guess: "False"

Not only did it allow me to check the placement of S, but it also introduced an L and an additional vowel, E, into the mix. It felt like a smart and efficient second guess, so I locked it in.

The result? S was indeed in the fourth spot, and now L had joined the party! That was some fantastic progress. With just two guesses down, I had a strong foundation to crack this puzzle.

Third Guess: "Lasso" or "Lassu"?

At this point, I had L in an unknown position, A in the second spot, and S firmly in the fourth spot.

I immediately considered that L was unlikely to be the last letter, which meant it almost certainly belonged at the beginning. That gave me the structure L _ A S _. From here, I began running through possible words.

The word that stood out was Lasso. But wait—was it Lasso or Lassu? I’ve heard both pronunciations, and I was curious to see what others thought. Regardless, it was the best option based on the letters available, and I didn’t see any viable alternatives.

So, I locked it in and held my breath.

The board lit up green—the answer was indeed Lasso! Three guesses, a festive theme, and a satisfying solve. I’ll take it!

Tomorrow Word

That was a fun one, and I’m happy to have kept up the streak of solid performances. But as always, I’d love to hear how you did! Let me know your approach, your guesses, and of course—how do you pronounce "Lasso"?

Tomorrow is Tuesday, and I’ve already got my starting word lined up: Final. Not the final Wordle, of course—just the word Final to kick things off.
